Pastor Matt has worked in ministry starting with youth since 1992. Through the up and down road he would choose the full time call to ministry in 2008, becoming an Associate Pastor to Sault Wesleyan Church. Upon retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2014, Pastor Matt took on the Senior Pastor calling at Cheboygan Community Wesleyan Church. He is community driven and on any given day can be found around the community sharing and being active to make the community of Cheboygan, MI to being a welcoming place.
Victor Phipps
Youth Leader
Victor is retired U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. He has worked with the youth program for approximately three years and in 2018 chose to answer the call to Youth Pastor. His testimony provides a direct connect to youth at risk and is allowing God to use him to lead youth to better choices and overall a better path for their future. He also leads the Facebook live and sound for Sunday morning services.
